Infrastructure
Every validator and RPC node runs on dedicated Supermicro servers owned by Inno Solutions and hosted at CMC Data Center in Ho Chi Minh City. No shared cloud instances and no noisy neighbours: we control the hardware, the network setup and the maintenance schedule.
As a Supermicro-authorized integrator, our own engineers handle hardware faults and part replacements, without waiting in a cloud provider's support queue.
Hosting in Vietnam also adds geographic and provider diversity to the validator sets we join, which most networks actively look for.
Security and operations
The practices below apply to every validator we run.
Validators never peer with the public network. They connect only to our own sentry nodes over a private network, and the validator's IP address is not published anywhere.
Consensus keys are never stored on the validator's disk. Blocks are signed by a remote signer (TMKMS, or Horcrux threshold signing for higher-stake networks) on an isolated host with no public access.
The signer records the last height, round and step it signed and refuses anything that conflicts. We run exactly one signer per key and never keep a live key on a standby node.
Servers are reachable only through VPN with SSH keys; password login is disabled. Key backups are encrypted and kept offline, never in cloud storage.
Prometheus, Grafana and Alertmanager track missed blocks, peers, sync lag and disk. Alerts fire on the first missed blocks, long before any jailing threshold, and reach the on-call engineer within minutes.
Binaries are built and tested before each upgrade height, on testnet first where one exists. If an incident affects signing, we inform the network team and share a written post-mortem.
